• 4/4 - 5/4 ( 1"- 1 1/4" thick ) lumber and live edge: Ash, Maple, Beech, Hickory, Box Elder, Willow, Elm, Hackberry, etc: call for latest inventory


• 6/4 and 8/4 live edge slabs: Ash, Maple, Beech, Hickory, Box Elder, Willow, Elm, etc.: call for latest inventory


• Occasionally unique extra thin and extra thick pieces and slabs. 


• Custom cutting: on average $100/hour yields approximately 100 BF. ​( two to three average size logs without issues 
• Sawed,  stickered and stacked and weighted, we air dry the pieces for 30-90 days to reach the appropriate moisture content to be able to put the wood in the kiln. Then we kiln dry the wood ( on carts, stickered, stacked and weighted as well) in order to stabilize and kill off any bugs or stop any rotting process ( spalting, etc ). Wood is unpredictable, the heart wood dries differently than the sap wood, various types of anomalies and manner of cuts can lead the slab to split, twist or curl during the drying process. We do our best in trying to weight the stacks, provide ample air flow around each slab and bring the temperature up slowly. That being said there is always the chance the slab will move throughout the full process. ​


• Kiln dry services only: priced at  .75/BF  extended air dry and oversized handling fees may apply.
• Sawdust: clean hardwood (no exposure to black walnut ) $2/bag
• First cut ( flitches ) available for purchase. Perfect for outdoor wood burning systems, firewood or even craft projects. Sold by the pickup truck load.
• Bark; used for projects or mulching on paths - N/C
• Thin veneer pieces; many artists enjoy using this wood for painting or drawing on - sold by individual piece. Usually around $4 a large slice ( over 4' long )
• Turning blanks; we have a wide variety of chunks of cherry, maple, spalted maple, ash, etc available for large and small turning projects.

Hardwood slabs are great for cutting up and using as fuel in outdoor woodburning furnaces and wood stoves. We sell the bundles of slabs by the full cord price of only $100. Pick only - we will help you load your truck or trailer.
